Everything you heard was true...

Two new releases I wanted to blog about comes from the very talented designers of Dura and Ison.
I must tell you they happen to be two of my favorite stores to shop at and it doesn't take much to see why.

Dura released another wonderfully styled hairdo for ladies and gents alike. This is the new Emo hair 07.
The things chaiki can do with prims! You really have to look closely at the work she does and appreciate how much effort and time she puts into placing each strand. I use to dabble in making hair years ago and I know just how much time goes into doing this.

Another beautifully done design comes to us by way of Ison. I adore these fur vests. They are sophisticated as well as versatile. I am all about buying items I can dress up or down and still look great in. The texture is realistic and the construction is figure flattering. You must buy the fatpack because each color is a must have.

I really love the new hair from Love. The options and add on available makes this hair versatile. You can change the front highlights to different colors. The fatpack, which I bought comes with a hud for all the hair colors available. I couldn't chose which color I wanted most and the fatpack price was too good to pass up. You can also buy a add on cut for the part that is shaved. I'm not wearing it in this shot but it's a must have add on. It is also color change and gives the hair a different vibe.

Bad romance has some very sexy dresses out now. I picked up a few things, one being this hot little dress number. I love animal print, and I like how this print is toned down but still visible. The back is a series of straps going across and gives a nice view of your backside. I felt so sexy I had to amp up my cleavage for the shot :P

My ring is by the store {Rangs}, which you can guess makes all types of rings for your avatar to accessories with. The Ankhs ring comes in black, silver and gold.  I love this symbol because it represents life and it reminds me to live it to the fullest.

Colder than a polar bear's toenails.

O M G, it is definitely feeling like Winter here in California. My poor nose keeps running, my outerwear needs a serious update to take on the weather and no matter how many times I wrap my scarf around my head I am still cold.

So, I had to do a wintery post so my avatar doesn't have to suffer like I do. Beautiful Dirty Rich put out some really warm clothing. The jacket and the dress is from BDR. They pretty much cover all the colors in their fatpacks and though my dress is having a bit of a malfunction *cough* my Mesh hair from Wasabi Pills is keeping my left boob pretty warm. Yay mesh!

Apply May Design snuggies are nice and warm. I like the color combinations they come in and the fur lining on these boots keep my feet at a comfortable temp. For extra measure I pulled on my tights from RIDDLE and Scrunched socks from Maitreya. Nice and toasty!!

Bang Bang Bang

Killer heels are the new release by Purrfect 10 and boy are they just that.  I think they are unique and sexy in a sinister kind of way. It's like a warning to those guys or girls out there, to watch their step around this kitten. She has claws...or a gun in this case. The Killer heels come loaded with options. You can change the strap colors, the bullets, the gun barrel, the platform color as well as the sole. The bullets come in silver or gold as does the gun barrel. Each shoe color has a primary color and a black option. So you don't have to buy these in black, it's like having a bonus color.

Emery is having a weekend sale so of course I rushed over to pick up a few choice pieces. Everything is 50% this weekend so run over and splurge!

Birds of a feather

On my search for casual dresses I walked into paperdolls. It's been maybe a year since I have gone there and I was pleasantly surprised to see right off the bat a few items I wanted. One of them being this off the shoulder dress. I like the thin leather waist belt and the fullness of the skirt.  The color is a earthier red that goes  lovely with the skin color of my avatar. The skirt is a mid-thigh length and shows off my legs in a tasteful way.

As soon as I put it on I knew I wanted to pair it with dramatic earrings. Fringe cuff earrings from bellballs were perfect for the look I wanted to go for. They were big, unique and made a statement. I love feather earrings, I have a couple in my RL jewelry case and I wish I had these! I love the color blend and wanted to match my heels to bring them in more.

The highly customizable platform heels from HoC answered my prayers. I love these pumps because there's many different combinations of colors and prints available to play around with. the platform, upper part of the pump and the heel are all texture change. The colors/patterns can match most outfits you may have in your inventory.
